Nadezhda Sorokina graduated from Moscow State Textile Academy named after A.N. Kosygin. She has been drawing, painting and exhibiting her paintings since her studying at the Academy.

Her paintings depict the beauty of the surrounding world. She paints the corners dear to her heart: “Pokrov Park in Chertanovo”, St. Peter and Paul Cathedral in Karachanovo, Cathedral of St. Ephrosinia of Moscow, The Holy Trinity Church in Chertanovo and her favorite literary characters.

Her pictures are penetrated with delicate colors and lyrics. The artist combines diverse techniques preferring realistic paintings in oil. The works of the artist are owned by private collectors in Russia and beyond. She took part in collective exhibitions and has quite a few personal art exhibitions, She wants to do so much more and convey all the beauty of the surrounding world and share a part of her soul with the spectator.
